Over time, the people you’re following tend to be interested in the same things you are. If you didn’t find them interesting, you’d stop following them. But none of us is really all that much like the other; we all have our own quirks and quiddities. Thus, although similar, we’ll both intersect and diverge in interesting ways. And so we become like a giant net of compatibility, scouring the Internet together to feed one another’s appetites.

This morning, @lisasolomon caught me a good one. I’m still not sure if that was a benefit, though, because I’ve sooooo much to do today and have already lost about an hour to the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

It started with a simple shaft of music:

 

But, of course, I had to hear more. I wondered if they would all be as good; I was concerned it would get bad, maybe even ugly.

 

My fears were for naught, although there was a little sadness.

 

Ultimately, I started my day. With a huge smile and a great feeling in my heart. I enjoyed the music, yes. But it was also good to see what can happen when similar tastes and talents come together. And speaking of talents coming together, I leave you with this:
